Putting District 21A First

The people of District 21A work hard. They support their schools, maintain their roads, and invest in their small businesses and local communities.

That’s why accountability matters, and why common-sense leadership is essential.

When taxpayer dollars are misused or lost to fraud, rural communities feel the impact. Stronger oversight ensures public funds are handled responsibly and transparently.

Agriculture and small-town businesses are the backbone of southwest Minnesota. Added regulations and rising costs can make it harder for family farms and small operations to remain competitive. Policies should strengthen rural communities, not unintentionally burden them.

Public safety is also a priority. Law enforcement officers serve with professionalism and integrity and deserve consistent support and resources.

Meet Krist Wollum

Krist Wollum is not a career politician. He is a farmer, husband, father, and longtime community leader.

Born and raised in Lincoln County, Krist has farmed alongside his family since 1992. Today, he operates a fourth-generation grain and cattle farm near Porter with his nephew, helping carry the family legacy into its fifth generation.

For decades, he has served his community:

  • President, Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association (2017–2018)
  • Minnesota Cattleman of the Year (2020)
  • Legislative Chair, Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association
  • Testified before both the Minnesota House and Senate
  • Marble Township Supervisor for 20 years

Through his work in agriculture, local government, community involvement,  and statewide organizations, Krist has gained firsthand experience in how policy is shaped and how it impacts rural communities.

He is running to provide common-sense leadership that listens, acts with integrity, and puts constituents first.
